bta-mir-708: Bta-mir-708 is a microRNA that has been found to be up-regulated in high RFI animals [PMC5003961]. It is one of the most significant differentially expressed bta-miRNAs, with a high fold change and a low false discovery rate [PMC9437019]. Bta-mir-708 has been observed to be up-regulated at 4 hpi and 2 hpi in certain conditions [PMC3589390]. It has also been found to be highly enriched in the follicular fluid of subordinate follicles compared to dominant follicles [PMC4438052]. Bta-mir-708, along with other miRNAs, has been selected for validation through quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) [PMC4438052]. Furthermore, bta-mir-708 has been shown to be up-regulated in the LPS+FTA groups compared with the LPS group, as confirmed by RT-qPCR [PMC7943879]. Bta-mir-708 is part of ceRNA regulatory networks involving lncRNAs and mRNAs [PMC7969984]. Additionally, it has been found to be enriched in SF at day 3 of the estrous cycle but repressed at day 7 compared to DF groups [PMC4156418]. Bta-mir-708, along with other differentially expressed miRNAs, has also been analyzed in theca cells [PMC4156418].
