hsa-mir-1246: Hsa-mir-1246 is a microRNA that was identified in a study analyzing serum exosomal miRNA expression profiles . The study found that hsa-mir-1246, along with hsa-miR-1290 and hsa-miR-29c-3p, exhibited the same regulation direction in both tumor tissues and sera . Another study investigated the effects of hsa-mir-1246 inhibition in the Caco-2 and HCT116 cell lines . The results showed that complete coverage of the gap area was achieved 72 hours after cell transfection with both miR-Control and hsa-mir-1246 inhibitor in Caco-2 cells, and 96 hours after transfection with miR-Control and hsa-mir-1246 inhibitor in HCT116 cells . Additionally, a feature selection method identified hsa-mir-1246 as one of the 50 most informative attributes . These findings suggest that hsa-mir1246 may play a role in tumor regulation and could be used as a potential biomarker . Further research is needed to fully understand its function and potential clinical applications .
