mmu-mir-5119: mmu-mir-5119 is a specific miRNA that is exclusively expressed in astrocytic sEVs [PMC8272329]. It has been implicated in enhancing the anti-tumor cell immune response and is enriched in microglia in the developing brain and spleen dendritic cells [PMC8272329]. In contrast, three other miRNAs (mmu-miR-7a-2-3p, mmu-miR-135a-1-3p, and mmu-miR-144-3p) are exclusively found in neurons and neuronal sEVs [PMC8272329]. In a study comparing the expression levels of miRNAs, mmu-mir-5119 was found to be upregulated in CCl4-induced liver injury compared to the control group [PMC4926493]. Additionally, mmu-mir-5119 was found to be downregulated in the FAC group compared to other groups [PMC9253011]. The expression of mmu-mir-5119 was also found to be contradictory to the change in Oxtr mRNA expression [PMC5709462]. Furthermore, miRNA-target gene prediction suggests that mmu-mir-5119 may regulate PRL and PRLR genes [PMC4609948]. Overall, these findings highlight the specific expression patterns and potential regulatory roles of mmu-mir-5119.
