oar-let-7i: Oar-let-7i is a member of the let-7 family of microRNAs found in sheep milk extracellular vesicles (EVs) [PMC7070426]. Sheep milk EVs contain several let-7 family miRNAs, including oar-let-7i [PMC7070426]. In a study, 14 out of the top 20 miRNAs found in sheep milk EVs were immune-related, including oar-let-7i [PMC7070426]. The accuracy of the sequencing results for oar-let-7i was verified using real-time quantitative PCR [PMC7070426]. Oar-let-7b and oar-let-7i were found to target CXCL10, a hub gene in module 1 [PMC9428447]. In another study, oar-miR23b, oar-miR19b, and oar-miR21 were upregulated between C12 and P12, while oar-miR329a5p was downregulated [PMC9428447]. Oar-miR148a, oar-let-7i, and oar-mir-g were upregulated in the adrenal glands of MM sheep, while oarmir376b3p was downregulated [PMC9205095]. During the research conducted on Ovis aries let-family genes, eight different genes were discovered including Ovis aries let-family gene 1 (oarmir148a), Ovis aries let-family gene 2 (oarmir-g), and Ovis aries let-family gene 3 (oarmir-i) [PMC3596360].
