hsa-mir-1260a: Hsa-mir-1260a is a microRNA that has been studied in various contexts. In one study, HEK 293T cells were transfected with miRNA mimics, including hsa-mir-1260a, and luciferase activities were analyzed [PMC4478345]. Another study found that the expression of hsa-mir-1260a increased the percentage of PBMCs with regular calcium peaks and induced cell clustering in the presence of SMAD4 [PMC5689584]. Hsa-mir-1260a was also found to be affected by hypoxia in Caco-2 and HT-29 cell lines [PMC8202010]. It exhibited higher expression levels compared to other temperature-responsive miRNAs [PMC4478345]. In BxPC3-SMAD4+ cells, hsa-mir-1260a was overexpressed compared to BxPC3 derived Exo [PMC5689584]. Hsa-mir-1260a has also been found to carry a U-to-G editing site in genome sequencing profiles [PMC6678584]. It was down-regulated in individuals with type 2 diabetes [PMC8829580] and positively correlated with HbA1c levels in mothers with type 1 diabetes [PMC8531745]. Additionally, hsa-mir-1260a has been studied in pancreatic cancer and colorectal cancer contexts, along with other miRNAs [PMC7962059].
